Pizza Sandwich is a quick and tasty sandwich, stuffed with tomato spread, pizza toppings and cheese. I have used a sandwich griller for making sandwiches, if it is not available you can use a toaster or pan to toast bread slices and then add the filling and cheese.

Serves: 1 Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of wholemeal bread or white bread or multi-grain bread
  • a handful amount of mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2 teaspoons of tomato spread or your favourite sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoons of chilli flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoons of mixed herds
  • 3 to 4 jalapenos chopped
  • 2 to 3 black olives chopped
  • 3 slices of bell peppers
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet corn
  • 1 baby corn chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon of butter or olive oil

Procedure

  • Brush olive oil or butter on the bread slices
  • Spread tomato spread on one of the slices.
  • Add chilli flakes, mixed herbs, vegetables and grated cheese.
  • Place the other bread slice on top.
  • Put the prepared sandwich in a sandwich griller and grill till it turns golden brown.

Pizza Sandwich is ready to be served. Enjoy it on its own or with your favourite sauce.

Notes

  • I have used tomato spread, you can replace it with your favourite pizza sauce.
  • Also, add your favourite pizza toppings to the sandwich.

Vegan options

  • Use vegan cheese instead of dairy cheese.
